About Me 

Hello there – want to find out a little more about the creator of this beautiful ePortfolio?  Well you came to the right place!  Growing up in Potomac, Maryland, I had a typical and fun childhood filled with great friends and family.  I attended Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C. from third grade through high school.  From the moment I could walk, I was always an athlete.  I played about every sport imaginable, until I got older and focused on basketball and golf in high school.  My basketball team won multiple conference championships in what gave me some of my fondest memories.  I’ve perhaps had more success in golf, though, where I plan on attempting to walk on to the University of Michigan Team.

A little about my family: my mother, Suzanne and father, Jonathan, are both lawyers, so there’s always plenty of debate about what to eat for dinner.  My older sister Amanda works on Capitol Hill and graduated from Michigan the year before I arrived.  And – I could never forget about my beautiful golden retriever Splash, who’s always there whenever I could use a smile to lift me up (see below).  Then of course they’re plenty of crazy cousins and uncles but that could be a whole book probably so I won't get into that.

Currently a junior at the University of Michigan, I’m double majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies, with a minor in Writing of course!  I hope to one day either work in the field of politics or sports.  Last summer I got a little taste of both, interning in corporate sales for a PGA Tour tournament and for a Congressman on Capitol Hill.  I have absolutely no idea what the future will hold for me, but I am completely confident I’ll figure it out.
